This oil painting is quite significant to me. I started it in 2025 and then gave up on trying to finish it when it was quite literally almost finished, I just had one small section I couldn’t work out how to complete. When I pulled it back out about 8 months later, it seemed obvious to me what I needed to do to fix it, and then it was completed 20 minutes later. It was a lesson that sometimes taking a break from something and coming back with fresh eyes is the best thing to do.
