About the Artist

Hi! My name is Taylah and I'm a 24 year old artist living in NSW, Australia.My love for creating art began at the age of 13 with a simple pencil and sketchbook, and ever since it has been my dream to pursue art and create drawings that bring joy to people's lives.​

 

I am heavily inspired by gothic themes and love to draw subjects such as skulls, crows, spiders and snakes. I also love nature and will often incorporate flowers into my drawings.

 

In recent years I have also enjoyed creating pet portraits and I find bringing a photo of someone’s pet to life on paper is just magical every time. 

 

​In more than ten years of drawing I have experimented with many different mediums, but my favourite by far has been ballpoint pen. I find the process very rewarding as it's a difficult and unforgiving medium to master. Recently I have also picked up coloured pencils for  and am having a lot of fun creating with them.
